The river floes forever onward
Regardless of the rocks and stones
Found in its path
Forever flowing
Ebbing on
Streaming through icy waters
Foraging forward
In spite of the many obstacles.
Unaware of trials
Unaware of fear
Knowing each bend before it comes
Knowing each bump along the way
And the river keeps flowing
As many try to cross
They sweat,
Their efforts becoming s part of the river
Unifying.
Forever flowing
But the bridges they build
To reach the other side
Crumble
And
Fall.
The ruins remaining.
And the river runs over it
Remembering the stones that once stood
Fondling each pebble
And then continuing on its journey.
This river is infinite
And eventually all come to swim
And join the opaque waters
And are swept away
By the constant current
That outlives eternity.
